Castle Clash is a game that i find really fun to play. The best thing about the game is guild system which let you play with your friends. There are many resources in game and Shards is one of resources which helps a guild the most. If you know how to farm shards you can make ur heroes super strong. 
Due to a huge number of request from guild members and friends i am writing this guide of how to earn shards quickly in Castle Clash. This is one of the most famous game on Android platform, which is now also available on ios, and Facebook.

How to earn Shards in Castle Clash  ???

Following are the most effective ways to earn shards.

• Torch Battles/ Team Dungeon: You can earn up to 800 shards per torch battle.
  
• Here Be Monster: You can earn around 80-400 shards a day. 
  
  
  
• Quest Board: You can complete 2-3 quest sets per day. You can earn upto 20-200 shards per day.
  
  
  
• Dungeons:  You can earn up to 100- 1000 shards a day. Shards drop rate is random. Each round of the Dungeon you successfully pass gives you a chance to earn a certain number of Shards. Dungeon with a Castle or tower has a higher shards drop down rate.
  
  

Extras:

• Expeditions : You can earn Merit points and than exchange them for shard offers from you trade Warehouse.

• Trade Merits: You should also keep an eye on Trade Merits in the Warehouse. Sometime you get good deals for shards in exchange of merits that you earn from Expedition.

• Storm Mesa : So far i have received Shards pack in Mesa3 only, but i guess it might be random. You can get 10- 120 shards. 

• More Events : Keep an eye on the events many of the times they have events where if you buy a certain amount of gems you get some thousand shards. If you are a free to play player they also have event that rewards you shards if you spend a certain amount of  free gems.
